Welcome to Omicron Omicron- the AXΩ Twin Cities Alumnae Association!
We
are the alumnae chapter of Alpha Chi Omega serving the Minneapolis/St.
Paul area of Minnesota. Many AXO chapters are represented in our
membership; in fact, with over 100 members, we have Alpha Chis from
almost every state.
OO
has a proud tradition of supporting our collegiate chapters, province
scholarships, local and National philanthropy, and most importantly,
bringing AXΩ sisters together from across the country.
If
you're new to the area, or just new to OO, we'd love to meet you! Just
click on 'How to Join' to the left. We hope to hear from you soon.

Hera Day Celebration
When: Sunday Feb 28th, 3-5 PM Where: Alpha Lambda Chapter House
Hera Day always has style, but this year we need your help by bringing hair accessories!
On Sunday, February 28th, come to the Alpha Chi Omega house from 3 to 5 p.m. to make baskets filled with hair accessories for Women's Advocates! Hair accessories were a special request made by Women's Advocates, and we would love to exceed their expectations. Please bring your hair accessory (hair binders, headbands, ribbons, barrettes, etc.) donations if you plan to come. Pizza will be provided for all volunteers. Please RSVP by Wednesday, February 24th. We won't turn away anyone who shows up! If you are unable to make it to the event but would like to support it, Omicron Omicron will accept financial donations to make the event a success.
Please send any questions or your RSVP for the event to Erin Cohen Werde at cohen279@umn.edu or (612) 295-7394.
More Than a Safe Place Women's Advocates Fundraising Luncheon
When: Thursday May 20th, noon- 1 PM (registration @ 11:30 AM) Where: Macalester College, 1600 Grand Ave, St. Paul
On Thursday, May 20th beginning at 12:00pm at Macalester College in St. Paul, Women's Advocates, Inc. will host it's annual More Than a Safe Place fundraising luncheon. The event is a source of vital support for the shelter. Each year, OO hosts a table of eight at the luncheon. OO is looking for for your support by asking you to join seven other fellow OO members purchasing a spot at our hosted table.
Attending the lunch is an easy way to join in supporting Alpha Chi's philanthropic efforts, the success of programs of Women's Advocates, and sharing with others the important work of the shelter. With your help, WA's will be a step closer to achieving their mission of eliminating violence in the lives of women, children and families.
If you are interested in purchasing a spot at OO's hosted table, please contact Erin (Cohen) Werde at cohen279@umn.edu.
